That still showing a man wearing a skirt was from “Encounter at Farpoint”, the first episode, so the idea was there all along.

Are you going to account for UV?
Selective material bleaching counts also as sort of staining. Did you mean this?

Nope. Absinthe is green. In The Future, all drinks are blue (and, presumably and depressingly, Blue Curaco).
