The problem I have with the article is that it’s insulting to people who like being cuckolded more than it is to the racists who use the term as an insult. Not everyone who enjoys this fetish is a racist who will vote for Trump. Essentially what this article does is kink shame. It’s also just wrong. Are submissive women in heterosexual relationships secretly sexist against men? Why not apply the same logic if white men who like to be cuckolded by black men must be racist? It’s not that they view the black man as inferior as this article claims. If that were true then they would get skinny black men with smaller penises to dominate them. Rather it’s acknowledging their own sexual inferiority that creates the rush. But humiliation is just one aspect that may or may not apply. Not every cuckold finds it humiliating or likes to be humiliated. The idea that being cuckolded should elicit humiliation is itself rooted in patriarchal perceptions. Some men would just rather watch then do the deed themselves. Submission is not synonymous with humiliation.

I get what you are saying. I didn’t even know about all of the racial connotations some people obsess about until recently.
It seems that there are always some people who feel that they have an interest in policing other people’s sex lives.
My outlook has increasingly been that selfishness and jealousy are less robust foundations for a relationship than openness and encouragement. And still decades later I am surprised by how many feel invested in attacking this and celebrating their insecurity like a badge of honor.
To me, “cuckold” is not a real thing, because my partner(s) and I are our own people, with distinct needs and abilities. Just like I can’t brush my teeth for their cavities, they might have something else going on which I can’t directly help them with, and helping them to do it is part of my respect for them. They don’t exist solely for my pleasure and comfort, because I am not a self-centered infant!

Sorry, but its attempt to explain is not kinkshaming. However you want to work out your raceplay is up to you, but the cuckolding fetish is all about humiliation.

It obviously exploits something inside the cuckold. Maybe healthy to get out, maybe it reinforces fears, but this is the psychological base of the fetish. Non-raceplay these days (or where the woman is the center of the activity versus the husband driving the action) tends to use words like “hotwife” instead of cuckolding.

That’s a very recent development though, brought about by the availability of massive amounts of online porn and the concomitant need to precisely categorize it. The broader historical sense of “cuckold” hasn’t been entirely eclipsed by the racialized modern porn / RWNJ senses.

Sure, that’s what the article says, but many people have apparently never heard of this racial component until fairly recently (perhaps the past ten years?), while cuckold has been a cultural concept for considerably longer than that. So I dispute the “is rooted in” racism part when the racism appears to be a quite recent development. I have seen cuckold porn from the 70s, 80s, and 90s and there was no prevalence of racial themes. It makes sense to try to understand recent connotations, but those don’t somehow retroactively change the history or origins of the phenomena.
That’s what I am getting at. Meanings are accumulative rather than substitutive.
I tend to think of racially-oriented porn as it’s own thing (although I would hesitate to call it “modern” because I think it is regressive). A lot of the “black guys on white girls” material deliberately focuses upon the stereotypes of black men having larger genitals which satisfy needs that smaller white men are incapable of. Going past the racial mythology here, the psychology of men being concerned about their penis size has been studied and written about at considerable length (sorry, I had to) and is applicable here.

Well I think that’s part of what people are missing. Race-play and cuckold fetishes are certianly entirely valid, non-shameful sexual interests. That many people get into in entirely mutual ways, and for entirely understandable reasons. That’s fine.
But it’s not really the context we’re talking about. Or at the heart of “cuck” as a new, entirely conservative, racially tinged, insult. So there’s two things that could stand to be clarified.
First porn wise: In terms of porn there’s been this massive rise in the popularity of a very particular kind of racially loaded cuckold and interracial porn. This porn is not particularly concerned with, or targeted at that whole “mutual” part I mentioned. Its entirely predicated on the pleasure or interest in a white male viewer or bystander. The black male (almost exclusively black male with white female) is little more than a prop. And often wholey beholden to negative stereotypes of black men held by white men. The white female’s interest in black men, pleasure at the encounter is pretty perfunctory and usually defined in relation to its effect on white male (the viewer, or in cuckold porn the, well, cuckold). The whole structure is built pretty explicitly to tweak the racial attitudes of the viewer, and the presumed attitudes are usually (not always) pretty negative towards black men and women. The men are stereotypical “thugs” with voratious appetites for very specifically white vagina. And the women are over sexed harlots who seek black men for their huge racialized dongs and satisfaction no white man can ever provide, or inexperienced and being taken advantage of (generally, its not all or every time, but these setups seem to crop up with increasing frequency). Additional you’ve got a porn industry where black performers (especially men) are generally considered unbankable. And so are paid far less. And “inter-racial” (a sobriquet, largely, for sex with black people) porn is considered outre enough to be potentially damaging to a white, female performers career. Such that many won’t do it, and those do are paid a premium for taking that sort of work (even as their co-star will be paid less). And this particular approach seems to be becoming much, much more common. So you may sit down to peek at some totally vanilla smut, with no black people in sight. Only to hear some one bust out with “so you like fucking niggers right?”. As if its totally normal, and then move on as if that wasn’t a thing that happened? If you’ve not noticed that good for you, really. But its definitely there.
The second piece of missing context has to do with the internet based Alt-Right. Your men’s rights movement, pickup-artist, neoreactionary, gamer gate spawning webernets movements of hateful privilege. Go take a look at the nastier ends of 4chan, 8chan, Reddit, and crazier places like Storm Front. Or if you can’t bear it check out We Hunted The Mammoth (it gets old quick, but it’ll give you a good idea of what we’re talking about). Those people are almost constantly harping on terrible women who apparently all want to do nothing but hump black guys specifically to harm the white race. Or simple because they are such filthy, over-sexed, nag-beasts that they don’t know how horrible it is to fuck anyone that isn’t a member of the current discussion. And like wise in between arguing for out and out white supremacy they obsess over old sexual stereotypes of black men and all women. Or obsess over those they dislike being obviously cuckolded by non-white, or being so horrible as to sexually desire non-whites. They rage about middle eastern refugees. Not because terrorism, or cultural change or any of the usual dog whistles. But because those refugees are coming for out women. And our women are horrible sluts who can only be satisfied by [insert despised racial group]. They obsess over meeting women from Asia, Eastern Europe and other areas. Because those women are “more traditional”, more likely to be virgins, and less likely to be sullied by sex with non-whites. Its a persistent undercurrent to nearly every discussion. And in the well publicized harassment campaigns these people have led, feature _ a lot _ of this shit.
The trend for the “cuck” insult comes from the later group. As a direct outflow over this same weird, sexualised obsession with “white genocide”, race traitors, and women being bad because they wan’t fuck some one else (or at all). Its also pretty clear that these same people are likewise driving (and partially fed by) the weird shift in prons creepy undertones from a bunch of dudes high fiving because “look what we did to these sluts” to a bunch of dudes cry-sturbating because “look what those sluts did with Negros”.
Maybe that last bit makes it clearer. What differentiates this stuff is that despite being heterosexual pornography, the focus is not on the women, or their pleasure/appearance. Or even both the people doing the deed, and their pleasure, involvement, and looks. It is directly and narrowly focused on the pleasure/reactions of a white dude, either the viewer or a bystander. And even more specifically on the racialized reactions/pleasure of that white dude. That sets it apart from other porn. Even cuckold porn, humiliation based porn, or porn built around more legitimate race-play.
