Years ago I found and bought fora friend “The Nothing Record Album” - a 12" 33 1/3 RPM LP, with a full 20-ish minutes a side of nothing recorded on it. Except of course the quiet hiss of a vinyl record.

I have the same sort of album, titled “Greatest Hits of Marcel Marceau” Each side consisted of 19 min of silence followed by 1 min of applause.

Self-referential objects. A quantum physicist might say that no such things exist.

A turner of phrases quite pleasin’,
Had a penchant for trickery and teasin’,
In his songs, the last line
Might seem sans design
That is, without why or wherefore.

Does the collection of self-referential objects include itself?

I was going to start a collection of non-self-referential objects, but didn’t know whether the collection of non-self-referential objects should be part of the collection or not.
