I have been to Ned Peppers many times. Fortunately (for me only) I don’t know any of the victims. This is still rough for me right now.
It’s only a matter of time before someone I know dies in a mass shooting. I’ve already known a few people who have survived shootings like this. It’s only a matter of time before everyone reading this knew someone who died in a mass shooting. Something has to change before this happens, and unfortunately I’m not too confident it will.

I mean technically not wrong, but a massive understatement too. Who writes about a story of someone plowing a car into a crowd and the first thing that comes to mind is “reckless”?
I know, right?
I know someone that was shot in a mass shooting but it was at the hands of a family member (he survived; three others including the shooter didn’t).
While this incident was terrible by itself, it is a lot different than someone going to a public place and indiscriminately killing strangers.

I think my blood pressure goes up 15 points every time I read about him. It’s only a matter of time until my entire circulatory system explodes through my chest and hops on the Acela Direct to DC looking for relief.
