Mental illness, video games, “the internet” and let’s throw in sex trafficking(?) for good measure. He did say "white supremacist " so I guess there is that. But this was for the most part a string of right wing talking points. He brought up red flag laws, which might make NRA groups shriek, but overall, useless. And odds are he will contradict this within 48 hours. Oh, and let’s make sure to execute them after the attacks. Yeah, that’ll work.

This must have sounded good in someone’s head (the NRA, most likely) but it’s hollow and meaningless. Nobody is saying that guns are shooting people by themselves like a Warner Brothers cartoon, and a trigger needs a gun to function, you absolute empty turd.
He also pledged to change mental-health laws to “better identify mentally disturbed individuals” and floated the radical solution of subjecting them to “involuntary confinement” if they’re a seen as a risk.
So rather than deal with the thing that white Americans use to cause these mass shootings – military-grade weaponry – he wants to change laws to lock up ‘mentally disturbed people’ and make immigration laws tougher. Got it.

My sister who works in the Farm Credit world says banks and credit bureaus are drastically cutting back on loans to farmers now. Inevitably making matters worse in the coming months or years.
My guess is trump will tank it all only to try and initiate a tariff deal right before the election. Farming casualties be damned.
