More likely even heās figured out that he has no chance of keeping it together for an entire uninterrupted 2 hour segment on live TV. Guyās really coming apart at the seams and I donāt want to know whatās gonna fall out when he pops.
The first thing a democrat president/admin will do after being sworn in? Seize Donaldās passport
Thereās no fun in that piƱataā¦stillā¦thereās a lot whoād like to take a few whacks anyway.
Tradition dictates that the outgoing president participate in the inauguration of their successor. While Trump is enough of a whiny-baby to skip out on that, it would indeed be a wonderful bit of poetic drama for the newly sworn-in president to slap the cuffs on him immediately, themselves.
Nice dreams, but sadly, tradition also seems to dictate that the incoming president overlook/forgive the crimes of their predecessor. Hell, the wife of the most recent one seems to have become besties with war criminal GWB. I can easily imagine a Democrat, should one manage to supplant Trump, letting all bygones be bygones.
I somehow doubt that; Trumpās attempts to break democracy have transcended the leeway given to political opponents. In contrast, I expect there to be a fairly vindictive (albeit justified) pursuit of criminal charges against most of Trumpās cabinet and many of his enablers and co-conspirators in congress.
However, I do tend towards optimism, despite evidence to the contrary.
Somebody has toā¦ and thank whatever gods may be for you, because realists pessimists who are ājust being practicalā and are ājust telling it like itā is ALL THE GODDAMN TIME are fucking exhausting and depressing as hell to deal with.
(Wallowing isnāt my jam.)
Sorry, but I donāt think Iām wallowing that way. I donāt think itās pessimistic to point out whatās happened in the past. Itās one method toward preventing them from happening again. (Those who forget the past are condemned etc etc.)
I have great hope that Trump will be punished for his many crimes. Fingers crossed! After all, justice for great crimes is whatās supposed to happen in the great U S of A.
Iām just not one to forget while hoping the many instances in the past where that kind of justice didnāt happen, as well as the reasons why it didnāt happen. If expressions of that perspective strike you as exhausting and depressing, maybe just skip over such posts, instead of basically saying you wish people like me would shut the hell up? And maybe also let us know of the evidence you have for instead being cheerfully optimistic?
Didnāt mean you personally; sorry if that was inferred.
Thereās a difference between actual realists and the pessimists who seem downright gleeful in their perpetual declarations of doom & hopelessness. To be clear, I donāt think that you are one of the latter.
Iām no āLittle Miss Mary Sunshineā my damn self, as anyone familiar with me knows, and I have no āevidenceā of anything other than my personal experienceā¦ And I what Iāve experience is that many people without any hope whatsoever often just give in and give upā¦ and I personally canāt fuck with that, not even if shit seems completely hopeless.
Thanks for explaining, and I apologize for the misinterpretation.
Yeah. Same here really. Iām glad itās evident that Iām not like that. I probably wouldnāt bother commenting at all if I were. Whining and groaning out my miseries seems to me like Iād just be imposing myself on others.
Ha, glad you said it and not me!
Twitter meltdown in 5ā¦ 4ā¦ 3ā¦ 2ā¦
That would be sweet. And take his damn hair. I bet heād look like Darth Vader without the helmet.
Elizabeth Warrenās dog, Bailey, is a GOLDEN retriever, as it turns outā¦
āDid you get the grumpy manās hair, Bailey? GOOD DOG!ā

Oh I do, or at least I think I do. I checked myself before I wrecked myself. chuckling while typing, instead of choking back tears? I donāt even know anymore.
