At this point Trump is basically goading them into impeachment. I donāt know what heās playing at - is it a bluff, reverse psychology, stupidity? I just donāt know at this point and thatās what makes this so frustrating.
I think Trump (and tons of Democrats) are convinced that impeachment hearings will galvanize his base, seeing it as confirmation that Democrats donāt want whatās best for the country, they just want to score political points and undermine the President.
