šŸ–• šŸŠ šŸ¤” A Continuing Round-Up of Trumpian Events šŸ–• šŸŠ šŸ¤”

Heā€™s doing so much purging in the past few days. Itā€™s ominous. Smells very much like an effort to build and rally loyal forces, perhaps as he attempts some sort of total takeover as the election draws near. :grimacing:

I wonā€™t give air to this made-up moniker for tRumpā€™s newest (false) attack of the previous president and his admin, opting instead to call it what it is:
ā€œOh Bullshit Gateā€.
Call it what you will, but donā€™t give his media pith any digital points, column inches or airtime.

Oh, he needs to get rid of the people in the Pentagon that are not okay with starting a ā€˜letā€™s bomb some brown people in a country that my voters canā€™t pronounce or find on a mapā€™ as part of the upcoming election campaign.
And this is the best-case scenario, sort of.

Where are the virus tests? The N95 masks? The hospital beds? The gloves? The face masks?..

Our money, poof! Grifting Mthrā€™fkr.

The next administration will have to clean these commissars out, and hopefully not replace them with their own ones.

I doubt that includes meals, parking, etcā€¦

I wish more people got out there to break down Donnieā€™s sociopath parlor tricks more often.

In a speech on Thursday at Owens and Minor, a medical supply distributor located in Allentown, PA, President Donald Trump wondered whether testing for Covid-19 coronavirus is ā€œoverrated.ā€ He then proceeded to say, ā€œAnd donā€™t forget, we have more cases than anybody in the world. But why? Because we do more testing.ā€

Next, he clarified: ā€œWhen you test, you have a case. When you test, you find something is wrong with people. If we didnā€™t do any testing, we would have very few cases.ā€

For Trump there is absolutely no difference between believing a thing and the thing being true. All magical thinking, all the time.

I really wish he would apply that shit to walking off a building, see how well it works for him then.

Honestly, though, this is the logical endpoint of how half our society works.

A company might make a good product, and thatā€™s nice because it makes it a little easier for marketing to make it look good, but in the end the latter is the real purpose. Elections treat politicians the same way. Wars are fought that way too; having achievable objectives can slide in favor if you can show off murdering bad guys. The largest problems that are facing humanity, like climate change, have been presented as if they were a PR debate instead of hard science for decades.

Why on earth would anyone be surprised to find that saving lives from a pandemic is treated no differently? As always, Trump is further along, but he is sadly not on his own road.

The next person weā€™ll be publishing is Donald Trump,ā€ the blog post said. ā€œThereā€™s an election race going on, and we found a ton of dirty laundry on time.ā€ The hackers added, ā€œAnd to you voters, we can let you know that after such a publication, you certainly donā€™t want to see him as president.

  1. I havenā€™t wanted him as president at any time in the last 4 years, and I certainly donā€™t want him as president now.

  2. How much worse could these documents be than what he says and does every. fucking. day. ?

Right? Responsible for the unnecessary deaths of tens of thousands of Americans, and they found something worse?

Wasnā€™t Larry Flynt once offering money for dirt on Trump? I donā€™t think there is a connection here, tho?

Well, that linked to article makes for interesting reading for those of us who didnā€™t see it at the time but everyone treated his presidential bid as a joke back then. Hindsight, you cruel mistressā€¦

This is actually genius, and can be applied not only to all that fancy-pants testing, but to everyday life. If everybody simply ignored all signs of illness - any illness - in themselves and in others, there could be no diagnoses. Which means no diseases! Best healthcare! Tremendous!
