On the whole, extremely well. Cases like this are anomalies, sadly. The Supremes will easily put Trump in office for as long as he wishes.
“I am pleased that the Department of Energy is doing what it can to promote an efficient regulatory system that allows for molecules of U.S. freedom to be exported to the world.”
Well, it is a step up from freedom bullets, I suppose.
My brain hurts.

Apparently it’s expensive driving shit around.
Interesting what T-Jr says in the middle of that tweet:
Running for office should never become a business model.
Speaking from family experience, are we?
How the f can they spend that much on golf carts!? It would be cheaper to buy a dozen of them and fly them from place to place!
Statement coming at 11 am east coast time
Remember who Trump is renting the gold* carts from: a business Trump owns. Maybe there’s a special presidential rate that’s significantly higher than the normal fee. This is straight-up self-dealing.
[ETA: obviously this is a typo on “golf” but I would not be surprised if it was inadvertently true]
Video has been released of a SECOND self immolation attempt at the White House (let those words sink in for a moment)
The video in the article is shot from a distance, but I still want to give a heads up content warning though.
90 degrees and climbing in DC today. Figured it was just tourists spontaneously bursting into flames.
And I’ll note again that SC decisions like Roe, like Griswold, and others (like the gay marriage decision and the sodomy decision years ago) are all based on the right to privacy. It’s not a huge leap to go from issues that are supposedly only about certain demographics to restricting rights for everyone based on the notion that the constitution is mum about privacy. The erosion of rights for any one group of people will eventually include the entire population who can’t buy their way out of it. If our rights are infringed, they’re coming for white working and middle class men next.
TMZ has even more graphic footage

BTW: this factor is the reason why “Trump is unprecedented and horrible! Vote for us because we’re not Trump!” is ineffective as an electoral strategy.
To middle class White people, Trump is shocking and new. To everybody else, Trump is just the same old shit with the volume cranked up a bit.
If you want the working class masses to vote for your candidate, you have to offer them something positive and convincing.
Fear-based negative campaigning just won’t do it. Neither will the same old business-as-usual bullshit. They’ve been scammed too hard and too often to fall for that again.
No. He’s definitely something new. Not totally worse, but definitely new.
This, exactly. You can’t beat the GOP with fear-based negative campaigning because they already own that space.
Hope works. It’s proven. Give people hope, and that overcomes fear.
