How did this get past me yesterday? This seems huge. (I know a lot of stuff seems huge that no one acts on…) So a lawyer for Trump called up a lawyer for Michael Flynn begging to know if the government had incriminating evidence on Trump… So in other words it sounds like either Trump’s lawyer even doesn’t trust the info he was getting from Trump, or he knows Trump is guilty and is hoping Muller didn’t have the goods on him yet…

Apparently, the “deal of the century” includes: a push for more Palestinian territory into Egyptian land in the Sinai (a place Egyptians have fought wars over!), pushing them out of Jerusalem almost entirely, annexing settlements to the border with Jordan, allowing some small " cantons" in the west bank, throwing some infrastructure money at the Palestinians, while continuing to deny them a state…
Pretty much all of that is an obvious non-starter, and not just from the Palestinians perspective, either. I can’t imagine either Jordan or Egypt signing off on this…

Honestly if her only legacy is taking the piss out of people who like to slut shame first ladies for having shapely ankles then I’ll give her that much. No more than that though. She still sucks. But it will be funny the for the next first lady (or President) when the fashion police show up to monitor their skirt length and sleeve width. Somewhere in my fantasy I hear a conversation:
“Madam President, can you explain these photos?”
“Yes, twenty five years ago I was young and hot.”
“…”
And maybe after that it will rarely be a story again. All fantasy… but a girl can dream.

Not sure where else to post this link but it’s worth checking out. Not just a Trumpian event, but part of larger set of problems in our society… That are likely exacerbated by the current president.

he creates crisis to solve the crises he’s made.
his solution to immigration is a wall, cruelty to people who look hispanic, and tons of money to a paramilitary federal force.
he’s not smart enough to have planned it himself, but the folks around him are, and those people are also smart enough to make him think he came up with the idea.
maaaybe we’ll still get a war in iran before election day, but at the very least the manufacturered humanitarian crisis at the border will be at a breaking point. i would assume troop mobilization and other brave actions from our dear leader

After Trump called Dutchess of Sussex Meghan Markle “nasty” right before his UK state visit, an official Trump campaign twitter account declared it “fake news” and insisted that people should “listen to what he actually said”, and posted a captioned video of… Trump calling her “nasty”.
