This article has the police radio audio that was released, it says it’s been redacted which usually means removing phone numbers. The very beginning of the audio one officer asks the nature of the gunshot and the dispatcher says they’re still trying to get information as the the caller was hysterical and they couldn’t do chest compressions due to the nature of the injury.

At this point, since cops can’t seem to tell the difference between a real gun and a wallet, taser or toy gun, we must assume there’s some diagnosable form of mass delusion the institution engenders. The only cure for Cop Gun Dysmorphia is clearly either fewer guns or fewer cops.

A cop that doesn’t know the difference between a real gun & a toy has no business either owning a gun or being a cop.
Besides all that, guns aren’t toys to be played with!

You’d think they would know that just the appearance of a cover-up makes things worse.

The ‘caller’ is presumed to be the shooter. Nice of him to save the Coroner the trouble of making that determination.
