Four leaf clovers really aren’t all that uncommon. If you pick a clover at random your odds of finding a four leaf variant is low, but if you take a few minutes and search methodically you’ll likely find a few.

I’ve had random ears of corn with a partial row (but never counted). I’d have to assume a partial would indicate that one end or the other is an odd count.
