Cow is winner of rodeo!
But joking aside, I can see a scenario where a cow escapes in a loading/unloading area, and nobody has a horse or rope handy. Humans are slow, and motivated cattle not so much. If she could get a certain distance away and into some sort of brushy or forested area, she’s gone well before anyone could mount up and go catch her.

Well, shit. I mean, if the cow escaped from a rodeo, where I assume she’s surrounded by folks trained and capable of, ya know, catching and wrangling cows, no wonder she’s still at large.
I’m sure once she got out, they were all “Forget it…it’s Chinacow”__
