Totally minor in the grand scheme, but Iâm so fecking tired of this Protestant notion that âwaking up earlyâ somehow makes you a better, more moral human being.
So people who work the night shift can never be as âpureâ as first shift workers?
Sure is easy, though. Wake up early, and go sit in a pew for an hour or two a week and youâre automatically better than all the poor saps who work the late shift and Sundays.
