He also tells Jack about the interactive visualisation tool heâs created at Radical Reports for tracking M4L, their activities and interactions with other people and groups on the right. Topics covered include M4Lâs links to the Republican Party including DeSantis in Florida, their ideological censorship movement to expunge school libraries of anything they donât like, their links to the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers, etc. Fascinating (if ominous) stuff.

The morning of the protest, the Gloucester County Sheriffâs Office said it was aware that âattendees will be open carrying firearms during this event as supported by the 2nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution,â and that they were taking âthe necessary measures to help ensure that these individuals are able to express their rights peacefully.â After it concluded, the sheriffâs office announced that there had been âno incidents to report,â and that it would âhave no further commentâ about the event.
Sounds like one of those âConstitutional Sheriffsâ assholes who think that they get to interpret what the Constitution âreallyâ means, and act accordingly. By his interpretation, this was just âprotected free speech,â although I suspect if these were Black men wiht guns, there would be a very different response.
