With all the news about Nazis winning Republican primaries, I had to laugh when I heard that a socialist had won a Libertarian Party primary for the Michigan state government.
Anyone know anything else about this?
I might be wrong, but it sounded like a little dust-up between Tamara Keith and Steve Inskeep on Morning Edition. She was describing efforts by Dems to resist confirmation of Kavanaugh for Supreme Court, and her language was on the partisan side. Inskeep was using what to me was a very pointed tone of voice to steer the conversation back to non-partisan ground, and none the less, she persisted. I think he was pissed. I could be wrong.
It’s true that NPR’s insistence on milquetoast content and attitude can make it really hard to tell just what its presenters are really thinking and feeling.
