In response to this giant confederate battle flag located off of I95 in Stafford, Virginia:
“Susan Kosior, a member of the group that filed the latest motion, said if the county doesn’t require the Confederate flag to be lowered, she is considering erecting an 80-foot flagpole to fly a huge Black Lives Matters sign in her backyard.”

This seems like a reasonable (though not great, under the circumstances) response… IFF it is something being enforced equally for all of their officers.
If there’s evidence of their officers making any kind of pro-Trump or “Blue Lives Matter” statements while in uniform (and it would surprise me if there weren’t, though I don’t know their local politics), I hope they’re being hit with requests for additional statements.
(unrelated… that article really needed an editor at the end. “In the Instagram post, the user who posted the photo took and posted the photo of the took officers said she walked into a police department”… yikes.)

She’s right about white liberal outrage over Trump, and how the focus should be on black rage. That being said, the Trump presidency is part and parcel of white supremacy coming into the public sphere very publicly. The election of Trump was a white, male protest against them having to share the world with those of us who aren’t white and male. I agree it’s not an all-American thing, it’s a black rage thing, but Trump’s election is straight up an expression of white supremacy.

Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving bigoted fuckwad.
Turns out the entire event was cancelled, but Mouth Almighty showed up anyway on Sunday for a whopping 15-minute photo op to less than 200 supporters, which cost the campus nearly a mil in security measures.
Frankly I think the admin needs to eat it; maybe next time they will think twice about allowing bigots a platform for their hatred under the guise of free speech, especially after admitting that having the Milos and Anns as ‘guests’ of the university doesn’t have any educational value whatsoever.
