School shootings are so normalized that 13-year-olds committing suicide is a relief. I know what this cop meant, but I still feel like you should save your "Thank God"s for a day when you donāt have a kid shot dead inside a school.

Actually this quotation gives me an idea of how to end school shootings:

The problem isnāt that the kids have access to assault weapons capable of killing dozens of fellow students, itās that they donāt have access to weapons that would let them go after real targets. What if we sold kids shoulder-fired grenade launchers or portable mortars. Give them advanced targeting systems and 5km ranges.
Iām sure someone might misunderstand what Iām saying here, so Iāll be clear: In the exact same way that Joe Manchin doesnāt support disaffected youth using AR-15s to kill their classmates, I do not support disaffected youth firing high explosives into congress from the Washington Hilton.
And this is obviously satirical, but thatās only obvious because we all know that congress wouldnāt pass laws that put their own lives in danger. I think thatās the actual analysis used. If a weapon would reasonably allow a lone angry person to attack congress then it should be banned.

Letās look at the math. The NRA claims it has 5 million members and they also admitted the discount was only used 13 times. Either the NRA just admitted their members arenāt the thriftiest folks around or they just got themselves caught up in a big lie.
Think about it. Out of a group of 5 million people, youād think at least several thousand people would have used that discount on expensive ass plane tickets. But nope, they said only 13 people used that discount because maybe they have nowhere near 5 million members like they claimā¦
