A round up of Trumpian events šŸ–•šŸŠšŸ¤”

It sounds like the locals there can’t quite wrap their heads around why that form of punishment might be a bad thing

I’m no lawyer or legal expert but… couldn’t a threat of physical violence lead to an impeachment charge? I mean the GOP tried to impeach Clinton over him lying about something as minor as a blowjob, but this alone sounds significantly worse in comparison.

It will be interesting to see when the threats took place.

The devil is in the details. Direct threats from Trump? Threats from edgelord gamergaters?

We’re getting closer and closer to literal, actual foxes and hen houses.

Oh, thank Dumbledore.

I had expected the worst.

Impeachment is 100% a political process. Facts, evidence and laws have little to no impact there.

A fascist legislature will never impeach a fascist President.

BTW Didn’t the evangelicals give el cheeto a pass if he wasn’t doing these things while in office??? Betcha they still hand him a golden idol pass of indifference.

Firing McCabe doesn’t particularly interest me, because he was a scapegoat for the fascist arm of the current GOP to point at for no particular reason. They hope to purify the FBI the way they are with federal judges, but it’s going to take a while considering McCabe was a lifelong Republican who got fired for passing an anti-Clinton story to the WSJ. And unironically, the right keeps marching along:

Where the editorial board of the WSJ claims he was fired for his actions relating to the election, and not for his investigation into the Clinton Foundation.

However Trump’s personal lawyer was only speaking personally, totally not signalling Trump’s wishes.

Trump wildlife protection board stuffed with trophy hunters

…Ivan Carter…wrote an article after the infamous shooting of Cecil the Lion in Zimbabwe declaring that anti-hunting forces were on the march.
ā€œThis event and the subsequent events have been the ā€˜Twin Towers’ of the hunting world — our 9-11,ā€ he wrote in a 2016 article, deploring airlines’ move to stop accepting hunting trophies as air cargo.
