(One would hope that the process of debate would winnow out the good ideas, and reject the bad ideas, and purity of political ideology wouldn’t matter. I recall reading recently that the Koch brothers support prison reform because it could save the butts of plutocrats. Ugh. Can’t we take good ideas seriously without complaining about motives?)
