What if everyone who owns patents, copyrights, etc. refused to allow their products to be used by anyone/company/governmental level who is pro-Trump?
What, you mean if libertarians had principles? You know that shit wonāt happen, because libertarians owning patents negates their principles as libertarians, so at that point theyāre just greedy, bigoted pigs.
Trump has cancelled all of the ads reminding people about the ACA sign-up deadline, even though they were paid for. Itās just pure spite and cruelty.
Regardless, the most glaring issue both scholars had with the photo was its lack of a photo credit. Trump has yet to name an official White House photographer, and while thereās some speculation about who that person might be, the omission is something both hope will be fixed promptly.
āPhotographers deserve credit for their work,ā Finnegan said. āIt seems fair to me.ā
Obviously, the photo was taken by John Barron, who declined credit.
You think thatās a libertarian thing? I donāt agree. I think most people who have control over goods and services would consider themselves āconservativeā or actually-conservative or progressive, not libertarian. Itās a minority viewpoint, I think.
Obviously Iām entirely against this, but the thought popped up in my mind that if federal lands out west start being sold off, will the Clive Bundy types have to start paying market prices to graze their cattle?
But isnāt this yet another example of them not thinking things through? Or are they going to sell the land at pennies an acre to the Bundys of the world? Otherwise, it wonāt be unarmed park rangers defending the land, itāll be for-profit private owners with a private army and a big fence, which means those cattle arenāt getting in at all without payment.
In a single line of changes to the rules for the House of Representatives, Republicans have overwritten the value of federal lands, easing the path to disposing of federal property even if doing so loses money for the government and provides no demonstrable compensation to American citizens.
Essentially, the revised budget rules deny that federal land has any value at all, allowing the new Congress to sidestep requirements that a bill giving away a piece of federal land does not decrease federal revenue or contribute to the federal debt.
I actually liked itā¦ a pretty stupid plot, but the only thing I really hated was Johnny Depp who was horrible and should never be allowed to do improv, cause he sucks.
Does Lindsey Graham have no idea the number of goods made in Mexico and shipped here? Are our politicians so uninformedā¦ waitā¦ I know the answer to that. Yes.
You think so? It seems to me like itās not a singular person in charge behind Trump, but different groups/people attempting to push through various agendas. Clearly, Pence is representative of social conservatism. Bannon of the alt-right and a more isolationist foreign policy. His cabinet is sort of all over the place.
I do hope there is a nice archive being created of their decision making processes going on, because future historians will hopefully be able to sort through who is the real power behind the throne here.
Trump is absolutely calling the shots, but Trump is also manipulated by others. Before Trump even ran for President this was something people talked about. Hell, even as he ran one of the Crackd podcasts had their guest talk about how Trumpās son in law is hugely influential on his business and how someone like Paul Ryan could easily push Trump in the right direction to bull rush the topic he wanted. https://soundcloud.com/crackedpod/the-hostage-negotiators-guide-to-human-psychology
Iām glad that Trump has estranged the CIA, because I just had the chilling thought that what he needs is a terrorist attack on US soil to give us a common enemy, get people waving flags and saying we canāt criticize the President.
Although itās probably already too late for him to try that, since heās shown his hand with the anti-press, anti-science stuff though.
I always thought āfalse flagā stuff was paranoia but at this point itās hard to separate paranoia from plausible concerns; I feel like Trump and some of his cronies are capable of just about anything terrible.
