Tiny note: it’s sound bite, not sound byte. “Byte” was invented in the computer nerd age as a pun on “bite” to denote an 8-bit package of digital data, as “nybble” was four bits (that one didn’t catch on so much). I was there. I saw it. Byte is not what’s intended here, just bite, as my mom would understand.
