I often fantasize about giving such folks their own Pocket Universe to fuck up, where they cant hurt anyone but themselves - stuck in the 50’s, no POC, no LGBTQ+, no one who is Other… and none of our music, food, pop culture or technological advancements.

The sad reality is those in the pocket universe, in the absence of what we consider diversity, would find new ways to split into us and them. Attached versus not attached ear lobes. Those than can/cannot eat cilantro. Lefty versus righty. They don’t really care as long as they have someone to punch down from a safe vantage point.
Not that you need any of that explained, I’m not. I’m just musing how quickly they would rip a part any Leave it to beaver cracker fantasy world looking for any other to torment.

I know that, and frankly I don’t care. Haters are always going to hate, and there’s nothing altruistic about my fantasy; I would give such a people ‘their own world,’ fully expecting them to self-destruct and burn it all down.

Well, they really might have heard his pleas for help and gotten him mixed up with the animals in those SPCA commercials. I mean, who wouldn’t vote for those sad, little beady eyes; especially when he’s crying?
