The extreme misinformation being firehosed all over F***book, OANN, Faux and Newsmax is nothing short of Stochastic terrorism.

Damn, that dude he punched first jumps right back in and appears to be the one who ultimately wrestled him to the ground. He’s clearly taken a punch to the head before and was the wrong person to swing at. I guess the anti vaxx idiot will have plenty of time to practice fighting (getting his ass beat) in jail.

Orange County, or “Behind the Orange Curtain,” makes that very, very improbable.

Exactly. It’s going to get worse before it gets better at the organisations on the front lines: clinics and hospitals, school s, basically anywhere where someone is trying to actually do some good.

I wonder where he got that idea from?

After 40 years of underfunding public education, I don’t think anyone should be surprised.

When they wrested him to the ground, they should have given him the jab. It’s for his own good.

What would take for these individuals to be aware of the whole world scenario? How could it be a hoax. I just don’t get it.

This kind of stuff is the logical extension of the Pizza Parlor Basement Pedo Dungeon gambit. Very few people buy it, but it only takes one to do a hell of a lot of damage.

That is a feature not a bug.

You’d think so, but I note he was released by the next day, so perhaps not so much.

I doubt it was his primary intent, but Reagen couldn’t have set things up better for today’s right-wingnut politicians. He did a great job of prepping a whole generation of Americans to be receptive to obvious misinformation. And now here we are in our real life dystopian future. Rightwingnut politicians have systematically transformed the United States into a country of gullible spoiled brats.

Does it fall under stand your ground laws if a vaccine provider defends themself by jabbing an assailant with a vaccine?

Well, he went to a vaccination site and got his jabs; some of them were electrified, too. Modern medical science, eh? Cool :sunglasses:

IANAL, but no, the only jabs that could conceivably be self defence here would be the non-vaccinating kind. :frowning:

Honestly, I’m relieved there hasn’t been more of this sort of thing, only worse. I figured by this point hospital and clinic shootings would be as common as school shootings. I’m not sure why there’s hasn’t been, but I doubt it’s because anti-vaxxers are self-aware enough to realize that attacking buildings full of sick people and those trying to help them makes them straight-up evil.

Does the rest of the world exist for these folks? Or is it all a wasteland of shithole countries infected by socialised medicine and foreign languages?
