Wondering who is the audience for this video piece.
It speaks well to dems who already hate Trump, but it also has a lot of the zany shit that Trump’s base already love about him, even as it sounds discombobulated to the rest of us. That’s to say, I’m not sure it is going to win anyone over. Maybe it will compel more Biden supporters to get out and vote in these potential swing vote zones. And maybe those others will never be won over.

Swalwell played his own supercut near the end of the hearing, and it displeased Gym Jordan so much he cut it off. I guess he didn’t want the flock to see the man behind the curtain. Gym knows it is not a video that will play to the base, because it showed the Orange Butthole (all credit to Sally Struthers) as weak and incompetent. It’s the opposite of the strongman persona the OB cultivates - it’s how he says the vile shit he spews as much as the actual words themselves that turns the mob on. The video also represents the OB as the proper target of his own hateful caricatures of those less fortunate. When the OB says “anomiss” for “anonymous” (twice) and “God bless the United shaych” he is not mocking someone with a disability - he IS the disability. The absolute worst thing in the world for the OB and his ilk is to be ridiculed, and he has been telling the mob for 8 years to ridicule people who talk like he now does.

Yes! Hence his need to pre-emptively ridicule. Two of his key tactics seem to be: 1) hit opponents on their strengths rather than their previously perceived weaknesses. 2) hit opponents by accusing them of having his own weaknesses.
