Because of course you can be sure it was a bad decision, since it inconveniences you, and of course their main concern is glares from people like you, because who on earth would a parent be paying more attention to than you and what you think about them? Why can’t they wait a few extra minutes so that you don’t have to? 
At least those parents are looking after someone other than themselves. What’s your excuse to be so desperate not to wait for them, to the point where you were willing to derail an entire thread over an actual victim to be about that instead?
