I’m really sick of people who are not white being treated as jokes or a means of people showing how clever they are. @Jesse13927 offered to tone down the glibness, which I appreciate. But how about we treat people, especially marginalized people, especially people being constantly treated like objects by various states, as our fellow humans rather than jokes? If that makes me the asshole, then I’m okay with that.
