The west already has plenty of oligarchs. Overthrowing the government was a cost-cutting measure to save them from having to buy it every election.

It’s not that I think it’s untrue so much as it’s still a less-bad problem than a de facto dictatorship. We’re not out of those woods yet though I don’t think. Not entirely.
