As much as it pains my shrunken little introverted heart, I’m going to try to do the majority of my Christmas shopping this year offline at local stores. I’m urging friends and family to do the same and to avoid Amazon if at all possible (not always possible of course, and I understand that for some folks, disability issues and other factors play a role with getting the products they need). But I do hope more folks will consider joining me if you can. The only way we seem to be able to get change is by impacting these company’s profits.

I’m with you on the Amazon boycott! It’s also a good way to shrink one’s carbon footprint.
