An accident between an Audi and a Lamborghini leads to viral videos, Tiktok sleuths, and a lawsuit

Who Is The Bad Driver Friend?

I don’t think this tracks for the first collision. She is waiting for the intersection to clear before moving forward. She (presumably) has no reason to believe that a vehicle is going to swerve around her into oncoming traffic and then cut in front of her. Even if her intent on the first collision was to deny the Lamborghini guy the opportunity to cut her off I am not sure she would legally be at fault (*) (athough I am not a lawyer). Nevertheless, I don’t think that it’s reasonable to presume without additional evidence that her pulling forward was anything but a normal driving pattern for the situation.

(* to be sure, it’s certainly not defensive driving!)

My insurance company actually gives me better rates for being a wreckless driver.

Yeah, I was giving her the benefit of the doubt that she might have run into him by accident after pursuing, in effect, a hit and run driver. That she hit him deliberately changes that dynamic.

Still, his actions involve a lot of traffic violations that started this. He illegally went around her in the oncoming traffic lane, hit her, almost hit a bicyclist, ran a red light while making an illegal left turn. That he left that out of his little TikTok is pretty damning. Be interesting to see the police report on the accident. If he left those details out he gave false information. But his presentation in his TikTok video: crazy person says I hit her. He DID hit her.

I get your point. But, between the honking and the fact that a Lamborghini Aventador is a large vehicle (not so much in height, but it covers a large footprint), I have a hard time buying that she didn’t notice that vehicle. She also didn’t start moving until he was ahead of her and starting to turn. Notice where her own pictures show the damage on the Lamborghini - right rear quarter. So he was past her and starting to turn in front of her when contact was made.

I think they are both jerks, but it seems like she is a bad driver who, on the side, likes to hit vehicles she thinks have done her wrong. This is not good behavior.

I don’t think it’s the police’s job to determine who is at fault, but to secure the scene, tend to the injured (if needed until EMS/FD arrive), gather information and file a report that the insurance companies/lawyers will use to assign fault.

You can’t really see the bicyclist she’s waiting for in this video, the one the lambo almost creams. She had the right to the lane and to proceed when the bicyclist had passed her, not him (had he not be impatient and passing her illegally, he wouldn’t have almost hit the bike, forcing him to swerve into her). I believe almost any court would assign him the bulk of responsibility for those events.

But, again, assholes all the way down, she immediately went and rear ended him on purpose and then acted like that was normal behavior and not complete dipshittery. Both of them should get their licenses revoked.

It’s weird, because there’s no cyclist in the Nest video above. It’s only in her TikTok cell phone video of the store security cam.

Two dickheads, only one of whom has admitted intent.

There is, they are just hard to see because they are so far away.

Yep. I see it clearly, but it’s little more than a moving white blob. Can’t really tell what it is from this angle and distance. Much clearer in the security cam feed.

Someday a decade from now, we’ll see the final tiktok of the series. It will prove conclusively that the butterfly flapping its wings in Peru is to blame for all of this.

It is not going to be possible to determine the damage caused by each collision. She has admitted that she intentionally rammed the other car so I doubt she has much of a case.

They should both walk. If they’re good for a few years, let them use a push scooter. One of the things to feel good about in human culture is that we can drive at 70 miles an hour a couple feet from each other and make superhuman efforts to not get in each other’s way, let alone collide with someone else. Deliberately crashing into someone else should forfeit your license.

Anybody know what Lambo gf meant by “She’s (so) slanted!” In the first video? New one for me.

Urban dictionary says to lose composure.

Yeah, I think that was actually a defensive maneuver on her part to not get hit. I have let off the brake or pulled forward to minimize impact from an inattentive driver behind me.

That doesn’t make any sense. Lamborghini was already ahead of her and turning in front of her when she started forward. It’s only defensive at that point in terms of “defending “ her perceived territory.
