Antkind is fantastic. If you like Kaufman, and/or Pynchon, it’s a must read.

I loved how early on in the movie his character was talking about how he didn’t want to “Hollywood up” the adaptation by tacking on a bunch of the typical movie trappings like sex, drugs, guns and car chases… and then by the end of the third act he’s neck deep in all those things.
