Yes, yes they would, or someone else in the office will take over if Willis has to step down from either her position or from the case… Apparently, people aren’t aware of DA offices work? Maybe they need to watch more Law & Order?

Yes, this really amounts to a big stupid distraction more than a weakness in the actual legal case against Trump. But a big stupid distraction still helps Trump, especially if it delays the case or even just makes Willis look corrupt.

I predict he’ll be facing a third lawsuit on this case very shortly. And lose again.
Also - HuffPo - it’s not alleged after it’s been proven in court.

… it seems like most of the Assistant District Attorneys get written out of those shows by going through some spectacular scandal and then either quitting or getting disbarred

Yes, but how long is it going to take to get a new prosecutor up to speed? A few months is all Trump needs.

This is a HUGE case and I’m sure they’ve added in plenty of redundancies already, because, you know, endless death threats…
