There’s been chatter that the first confinement order could be sentencing him to house arrest for some period of time, but it goes without saying that “house arrest” is kind of a joke when the person under arrest lives on a freaking resort.

i was thinking it might be something like a day in jail, and possibly not even a night. but yeah, putting him on some sort of house arrest ( in new york ) would be the easiest route.
like you said earlier, jailing him could have a lot of consequences for the judge, and would impose a lot of work for the secret service. the judge is obviously trying to find a way to avoid all that.
that said, i think it would have been best to jail ■■■■■ on the first offense. instead, it’s going to be a slow ratcheting up of consequences, while he and his supporters ( including in congress ) kick and scream and do everything to block each new step.

Add 26th amendment, 14th amendment, 22nd amendment, hell, add in the 1st as well. Dictatorship by its nature is not bound by any laws, and can impose any it chooses on whomever it chooses. Get rid of the whole Constitution. “All men are created equal” woke bullshit, right!!!
