As stated, Marsala is a darker version of “Dusty Rose”. It may have originated in the 30’s but it was wholly embraced in the early 80’s.

eh ?? i really kinda liked this year’s pantone palate !! the lead purple worked for model aircraft as well as fashion accent ~ but , whatever sells !!
