Did this…gentleman think the bathroom was strictly for gender neutral people as opposed to a bathroom that is neutral to the gender of its occupant? Of course, even if that’s what he thought, his response should be “oh, that’s nice” instead of throwing a tantrum, but just interested in the depth of stupidity and trigger-happiness going on here.

I’m assuming that’s a single occupant bathroom? I don’t know that I’ve ever had to go to the bathroom in a Petco before, so I’m not sure. But Petco isn’t generally the kind of store where people will spend over an hour in there, so there’s not usually a need for a large public restroom that can accommodate multiple people. If so, it’s nothing new for these bathrooms to be gender neutral.

The only problem with gender-neutral or unisex bathrooms is that some men do not lift the ring before peeing. Then you’re in a hurry you might not notice.
