“Sacrifice the weak” was one of the available cultural values. It was only available if you adopted the Ashen Veil religion and signed the infernal pact, which seemed appropriate. Reduced food upkeep and increased gold income at the cost of making your cities sicker and reducing your great person birthrate. Story checks out.

This morning I made the mistake of looking at the comments for a YouTube video of the state governor talking about the virus. For what it’s worth, not every conservative is in complete denial of the virus, nor are they desperate for ice cream and haircuts. One person was out of work and saying that the joblessness was hurting them more than the risk of the virus, which I have some sympathy for. Even if everything else they said immediately erased that sympathy and made me wonder whether they were actually out of work because of the virus, or just fired for being a colossal asshole.

I have it on good authority (a friend of mine knows a guy who works for Soros) that these protests were started by the liberals in order to get the supporters of the President out in the streets and get them infected. It is a plot to kill as many of then as possible so that Biden could win the election. When you look at the FACT that the “protests” are going on mostly in the swing states, you can see how sinister this Democrat plan is.
