It’s a good quote, and from an author I enjoy, but I look around the world (and the US House of Representatives…) today and I think how very wrong he was about this one.

Not OK to be so irresponsible when you have any kids, very NOT OK if you have more than one kid. His pension and death benefits will not be enough to help his widow in full. Now I’m sincerely hoping one of the parents has their parents in the area.
