sometimes has workshops; I think there were some on stone age food a while ago.
But you can always rent their barbecue area and follow your own culinary instincts.
Presumably hunting one of the local Aurochs to eat costs extra?
Best possible outcome. Metal detecting is thankfully illegal in Ireland, and when this came out a few weeks ago there was a lot of discussion about whether the finder would come forward if they face prosecution[1]. That itâs the landowner himself, and that he found it without a metal detector means that all went according to the law. Strange that he sent it anonymously, though.
ETA: I just reread the thing and realised that I had skipped over the part where he says they did use a metal detector. This reeks of a post hoc justification. Clearly this was found by an illegal detectorist and the farmer is covering for them. Ugh, what a mess, but at least they know the location now
As usually when it comes to Irish archaeology, the discussion was dominated by Brits who couldnât fathom that laws are different in another country â©ïž

Practical work on the Mes Aynak Copper mine project in Logar was inaugurated today (Wednesday, July 24) with the presence of officials from the Islamic Emirate and China.
Hedayatullah Badri, acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, said at the ceremony that the contracting company is obligated to carry out its work based on the contract.
Badri said: âMes Aynak Copper is the largest copper mine in the country and the second largest in the world. The contract for this mine was signed with MCC in 2008 during the previous government, but practical work did not begin due to various issues.â
Context:
Maybe brewing beer should be brought back as a valid excuse for skipping work today.
