I’ve been here tonight for several hours (on and off - mostly on), trawling through mostly this thread from last december. One thing I have learned is that mutants are amazing, supportive, understanding people.
I mean, I knew I liked you lot a long time ago, but after doom-scrolling this thread for so long today, I have come to have a deeper appreciation of you all.
FWIW, I have found that premixing the milk with the tea (or coffee) in a double-walled thermos-type flask will keep the milk safe for at least 2 days without refrigeration. And that way he doesn’t have to exert any effort to pour two bottles into one cup to get a cuppa.

She’s OK, she got taken in a week ago with suspected sepsis, and quickly responded to treatment because it was caught early. She spent most of the week bored in bed, the wifi there is not good enough for binging on streams.

It’s really hard seeing your parents laid low, but it sounds like you’re doing a great job advocating for your dad. Maybe make sure to allot yourself a second helping of whatever you do to reward yourself - something I’ve learned with my own dad is that he does better when I am better.
