Arizona paperwork reveals Robert F Kennedy Jr has ended presidential bid

I tuned in to the livestream of his press conference on PBS out of morbid curiosity, but so far he’s over 10 minutes late past the scheduled start time. Still hammering out the final compensation details with Trump, maybe? Or he’s holding out for an up-front payment, knowing Trump’s history?

Edit: he’s over 30 minutes late to his own press conference now. Rude.

Reportedly, tried to hit up the Kamala campaign first for the endorsement/job trade. Which makes sense, she can probably be relied to keep a promise. He went crawling to Trump when they ignored and/or laughed at him. After all, his endorsement isn’t really WORTH anything. He doesn’t really have many supporters, the only real reason that he was managing to poll well into the single digits was the people that disliked both Trump and Biden.

It’s because their faces aren’t lighted from above. They’re lighted by the bright light reflected from the white tablecloth. Kind of like shining a flashlight at your face from below when telling a spooky story around the campfire.

He was almost two hours late to the hearing to have his name on the ballot in PA. Brain worms apparently nest in the part of the brain that keeps appointments organized.

He was delayed by being run over by bear cub riding a bicycle.

Just about a minute before where the video starts in the link I posted, at 29:20 Oliver basically says we need to start “building a movement towards ranked-choice voting”.

Hear hear.

when he figured out he was actually siphoning votes from Trump and not Kamala. What a douche bag.

Right now he’s talking about the public health crisis in America, citing many examples of bad health statistics in this country. Moving on to the root cause he said there were two main causes, with “the first and worst of these causes being ultra-processed foods.” (Didn’t jump straight into vaccine talk.) And know what? Consumption of too many processed foods actually is a big problem! But it’s pretty freaking weird that he seems to think that this guy is the one to take on that problem:

Edit to add:
Per Kennedy, Trump told him that fixing this health crisis will be part of his legacy, and that he (Kennedy) is “choosing to believe that this time (emphasis his) Trump will keep his word.” What the hell? It doesn’t even sound like he’s pretending to believe it himself!

If he had consistency, he should have been endorsing Michelle Obama for president. It’s as asinine as the people who believe only Trump can protect monogamy and religion.

… throwing himself under the bus this time :bus:

Bill Clinton got a lot of flack back in the 90s for the occasional Big Mac but Trump’s love of junk food is nothing short of legendary, even according to his own family and supporters.

There’s a twist!

He’s not ending his campaign, only withdrawing from states where he would pull from Trump.

Kennedy, 70, said he will remove his name from the ballot in “about 10” battleground states where he would be a spoiler for Trump — meaning a candidate who cannot win but whose presence could help Democratic nominee Kamala Harris.

He said his campaign is not “ending,” and his name would still appear on the ballot in other states.

Bonespurs and Brainworms should stop being so coy and just hit the campaign trail together.

He told Kamala if she didn’t promise him a job he’d do something like this.

I’m guessing.

Marge posted this.

RFK Jr. breaks down the corrupt nature of the Democrat regime in four minutes.

It’s a MUST WATCH!

He outlines, in detail, how they didn’t hold a legitimate primary, launched a tyrannical legal campaign to throw President Trump in jail, and waged lawfare and censorship against his campaign.

Every Democrat, especially Kamala Harris, is guilty of subverting the American people and their rights to choose the leaders of their government.

It’s despicable and I’m glad RFK Jr. has the courage to expose their hatred of America and everything we stand for as a nation.

It’s always projection with her. I’m starting to wonder if she doesn’t actually have secret space lasers.

Australia agrees.

We also have compulsory voting - you can be fined for not showing up on election day, and employers are required to give staff time off to vote. This means that politicians don’t need to resort to absurd wedge issues to motivate the base. Politicians still do resort to absurd wedge issues here and there, but it’s not their go-to motivator and often only done when they have no actual useful ideas.

Where have i seen that before?

In his latest effort to pander to dipshit conspiracy-huffing Kennedy obsessives, Trump just announced that he’ll release a bunch of secret documents relating to the JFK assassination if he’s reelected. Never mind that there was nothing preventing him from doing that during the four years he was in office (assuming any such documents existed). For all we know those documents were among the souveneirs he left sitting unguarded in his Mar-a-Lago throne room.

There are better ideas in the world for many things, but many Americans seem to think if it isn’t invented in the U.S. then it isn’t worth considering.

TBF, Australia can be quite parochial about stuff too.
