That contract verbiage may be null and void if you are disabled and require state legal cannabis products to treat aspects of your disability. The Federal law prevents housing discrimination based on disability. But Federal law also still prohibits legal cannabis. So, dunno.
using a Marijuana presumptive drug test kit;
Aren’t those a complete crock?
May 31, 2019 the FDA is holding a public hearing on CBD and other Cannabis-Derived Compounds.

One document was specifically about medical marijuana use by those with a proper medical card.
In short they said, federal guidelines still prevail and so in general medical usage is not allowed BUT if you are handicapped don’t feel you can’t reach out to us on this topic.
Which is pretty fucking weasily. But I don’t fall into that category so not my hill to die on.
CBD is not illegal, it’s considered a regulated drug because of Epidolex (seizure medication containing it). Therefore there are no legal food additives or supplements as far as the feds are concerned. Whether or not your state (or Florida in this case) is legal or enforces, is something that the feds unfortunately seem to care little about.
But is it weed legal in FL? If so, I can’t imagine that this is going to end any way but expensively for the OC FL police and The Maus Haus.
I wonder if the levels were above the previously considered FDA legal level of 0.3% THC or if we have a test of the usual level of reliability… read “false positive for THC”
Ahh, I remember when a friend and I spent a whole day stoned at Disney World, on the cusp between the 80s and the 90s. I guess we were lucky.
High and Inside at Disney World?
That could make a good book title.
Uhg, sounds like they are inviting tenants to confess to the landlord so the landlord can narc on them to the Fed.
yeah so i’m guessing there’s more to it because Select CBD is an isolate product, and they also dropped the charges against her.
Medical grade CBD is also supposed to have little to virtually no THC in it, they wouldn’t show up in drug tests unless they were using a test that specifically pinpoints CBD (which is rarely the case), or they’re using a test that has unusually high sensitivity to detect THC (usually something you’d send to a lab, doubt a road kit would do this), or if the lady bought really bad quality CBD oil that had high levels of THC (also seems suspect if her doctor prescribed it). None of these seem plausible to me.
That’s how it sounded to me. I guess if I was handicapped, however they define that, I would of addressed this with them before I applied. Since these days I am purely recreational it wasn’t even on my list of concerns when toured various properties. But if I had a serious condition that required medical treatment then it would be the first thing I asked about.
As it is I guess I will get one of those filter dong things you blow smoke/vapor into plus there is always edibles.
I’ve used Select CBD and we sell it at the shop. I’ve worked with that company for over a year and a half. they’re one of the better companies, and they’ve won awards. They sell isolate product swith zero THC, so whatever the cops are claiming about it having tested positive for THC is a bald-faced lie. additionally, there’s a batch number on the box that you can enter on their website which will give you the third party lab testing results from that batch. my guess is all of this is why they dropped the charges, and I really hope she sues the shit out of them.
