Not a new thing
And i have a vague memory of someone being pulled over and cops seeing a bag labeled “Weed” that in fact had weed in it, but i can’t seem to find that one.
Edit: Not the one i was thinking of but close enough
I guess the truth in labeling laws are strict in Florida! /s
That’s why I always clearly label mine “DEFINITELY NOT DRUGS”
I applaud her organizational skills!
clearly entrapment.
where does it say that “drugs” will be found in any sack-like container labeled “bag o’ drugs”?
that’s why i travel with my stash in la bolsa de droges! they never suspect a thing!
the problem with dug is, it’s usually been stepped on more than the Appalachian Trail. the one time my guy came through with raw, I came too that morning while I was in the middle of being thrown out of the casino – wearing someone else’s clothes. or, their pants, anyway. I was naked from the waist up. the bouncers’ hands could barely hold me I was so drenched in sweat, and they would not. stop. yelling.
remember kids, say no to dug.
So the lesson is if you’re going to be driving around town with your drug paraphernalia loose in your car (please don’t do that, though), make sure you don’t break any traffic laws. And if you just really, really hate wearing your seatbelt, make sure to move to one of the 16 states where you can’t get pulled over just for not wearing a seatbelt. Florida, obviously, is not one of those states.
police noticed a driver not wearing a seatbelt and pulled over the vehicle
Eh…a lot of people still don’t wear seatbelts, and, as I said above, Florida is one of the states where you can be pulled over just for a seatbelt violation. Sure, the police probably looked at the car and the drivers and decided based on appearances that there was a better than average chance they would find something, and they probably wouldn’t have pulled over someone in a brand new Mercedes, but…I would bet the driver really wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
Proper MSDS documentation and labeling is very important
When I traveled to Memphis with some miralax in an old pill bottle, I wrote Miralax on it, but was tempted to add “not cocaine”.
No one respects the double bluff anymore.
