From the headline I would have guessed not a bag of drugs but then you see the picture of the devil’s right hand and guy can tell they were a pair of bad uns. So, drugs.
In retrospect the newly applied bumper sticker reading “DEFINITELY NOT A STOLEN CAR” probably wasn’t a good idea.
Why did Oregon end its decriminalization? A year ago, this probably wouldn’t have led to an arrest. We just cannot let go of treating drug users and addicts as criminals, can we?
Sounds like a number of overlapping crimes involved here that go way beyond simple possession.
Maybe it was very coarse seasoning salt?
So label it drugs and get busted, or label it not drugs and still get busted. Oh come on, can they stop playing games and just tell us what we’re supposed to label the bag of drugs so as to not get busted. I’m happy to follow the rule but I have to know what it is first.
… because I HAVE PROBLEMS and they are SOMEBODY ELSE’S FAULT
must be those drug addicts
I’m gonna have to rethink my “CERTAINLY NOT TROUSERS STUFFED WITH SMUGGLED CHINCHILLAS” pants.
I’m so tired of the rampant misinformation.

(it’s actually full of drugs)
It worked for Magritte. Besides, nothing here says the bag was actually full of drugs…maybe it had room for more.
The decriminalization measure took effect before the legislature and agencies built out the treatment infrastructure necessary to make it work. It also coincided with COVID, a spike in homelessness, and Fentanyl hitting the west coast in earnest. Things got visibly worse quickly and there wasn’t political appetite to wait for improvement.
Ce ne sont pas des drogues
Of course they’re sad. They don’t have their drugs any more.
I once gave a friend a ziplock bag of citric acid that he needed for a recipe, and wrote “citric acid” in small letters and “definitely not cocaine” in big letters.
i mean the disclaimer is just as important, if not more
