That never revealed anyone’s humanity (only the inhumanity of those perpetrating the act) but in Trump’s case I’d be happy to make a moral exception. I know we won’t find it - his humanity - but looking for it, in his case, would have very positive side-effects.

Miller and the like are too busy trying to destroy as much stuff as possible on the way out - what they don’t want is to be stuck with the mess they’re creating, so I expect many of them will be gone before they have to be (probably like Trump himself). And they know that any show of fealty would be lost on Trump (who no longer has any use for most of them anyways).

In every US vote except the prexy election, and certain issues requiring a supermajority, whomever or whatever takes the popular margin, wins. Our presidential electoral system can install losers. What a nation!
Prior to November 2016, Donnie Boy claimed the election was rigged. He’s right, of course – electors over-represent underpopulated (R) states. He was correct and should have refused to take office. Ha.

It’s not eve about individual racists, as much as it is about the existence of institutional racism (and other isms that hurt people) that is baked into all of our systems. You don’t fix the problem of individual racism, until you can have a system that dismantles that.
