Have the Republicans been particularly successful at selling the anti-critical race theory narrative to voters? I can’t tell. They’ve been so obsessed with banning grade school students from being taught it, despite a) not knowing what CRT even is, and b) that it’s not taught in grade schools, I suppose it must be working for them. I guess “critical race theory” has turned into the new “socialism” - they don’t care what it actually is, so long as it can represent whatever they don’t like at that particular moment in time.

It seems to be getting at least some traction in some local lilly white affluent suburbs. Groups of people have been turning out to school board meetings to rant against it. They have no idea what it is, but they hate it.
