That was item number one on the unwritten contract of cooperation between dogs and humans: each would protect the young of the other (mutual pack); and we’ve been evolving together ever since, nose and fire. What cuties!

After watching dogs in videos navigating elaborate obstacle courses and performing tricks, this makes me feel like they missed one…
