#BANTRUMP: Why Twitter should ban Donald Trump

So, you see this war you’ve decided is going to happen [narrator: it isn’t] as potentially a source of hope?

so, you work in a newsroom?

Not really a source of hope. Just laying out my predictions.

It’s not unusual for an armistice that is not quickly turned into a peace treaty to backslide back into armed conflict. The Korean War is one of the few exceptions so far, but we don’t have a lot of data to operate on as it is perhaps unique in the history of diplomacy and warfare. My belief is that without a peace treaty that conflict is inevitable, be it in 4 years or in 40 years. You’re free to believe differently, but without any data to back up the argument it’s just each of us slinging opinions. Although my opinion is based on the results of shorter duration armistices, both successful and failures. Even though they are not quite like the Korean situation, it’s not something I’ve made up completely in a vacuum.

You predicated a change in Trumps status on a war, hopefully.

You might consider a proofreader in future. You said what you said.

I predict it’s just not on me to get your point across.

You forgot the word “after”. I hope we’re alive after a war. I hope that charges are filed after a war. I clearly did not hope for a war. Because I’m not insane, nor do I have patience for trollish insane interpretations.

If my words were carefully chosen, and you chose to disregard them to get your point across, that is not on me either. If your goal is to make us both look like idiots, then pat yourself on the back.

It’s not a question of Freedom of Speech. It’s one of Freedom of Self-Determination.

The people who make the rules on these sites have no real accountability to the people to live under them. What would happen if we put Trump’s twitter membership to a vote? It’s interesting to speculate, but it’ll never happen.

How about #SHUTDOWNTWITTER , if not forever, then for the 3 months before elections? See https://www.nytimes.com/2017/09/27/technology/twitter-russia-election.html

Meh. Still worth it to try.

Assuming you could proof such a vote against wikileak trollies and Russian 'bots, I’d bet more than three million would vote to remove him.
