BB King, an animated interview

Because this was recorded in the 80s, I’m sure PBS has to license the clips. However, this is the perfect example of how richly culture can be experienced when it’s remixed. It’s the perfect example of why we need modest copyrights. Let people have a monopoly for a reasonable amount of time and then let people go bananas on remixes and you’ll get awesome new art like this series.

Beautiful and beautifully done. I rolled into Chattanooga, TN, one night and happened to notice that he and his band were playing in the next two hours, was able to get a ticket, and it stands as one of the most memorable musical experiences I’ve ever had. He was well past his prime, but to see him playing Lucille, live and in living color…wow.
