I want an office cat.

Hint. Acquire several huge rats. In your office, release them individually until management breaks down and springs for the kitty. 'Nuff said.

I work for a state government. They would either ignore the rats until someone was bitten (or thinks they were bitten) and sues or they would cover the whole building in plastic and fill it with chemicals.

It sort of sounds like they are so – disinterested – that they would ignore any cat you brought in.

They might be. Until someone sued over allergies…

Pretty much everyone in our organization loves our cat, even one guy who is allergic to cats! Feeds it treats and everything!

Curious choice of colors.

I wish WE had an office cat. Lucky…

I guess you didn’t notice that blue is a very common choice for TV news studio background:

And that the anchor wore yellow was likely a coincidence - they typically have a set of colors to choose from to make sure it looks good on camera. Yellow is a good, contrasting color for a blue background, so a natural choice.

There is no need to search for conspiracy or some hidden meaning in everything, even when it is from Russia.

Raul Labrador licks man, also news.

I’m just waiting for it to happen too!

I know! It’s the nature of the type of leadership beast we have here that allowed the cat… because it was the leader who decided to bring in a cat! Smartest thing he’s ever done. From what I see so far, stress levels have dropped by an order of magnitude. ‘Eddie’ uses the tops of our interlinked cubicles to ‘highway’ around and visit us. He’s the best (although very aggressive in play; he often claws-out-ambushing people at the cubicle corners!)

I wasn’t and I don’t.

Hehe. He’s the office Terry Tate, office linebacker.

Yes. I guess he is!

I’m glad she finally gave it a decent pat otherwise I would have suggested you can’t trust anything that newswoman says.

Body language makes me think perhaps she’s not a dog person.

Many cat people like dogs just fine. To look at.
I said, to look at. Down boy, down. Down!
