Another aside in the excerpt (elaboration is promised in the book), is that there was an agreement between Zuckerberg and Drumpf, brokered by Jared Kushner, to allow right-wing disinformation to roll freely on Facebook in return for Drumpf not pursuing regulation against Facebook.
